Price is damn good to get a couple for lighting projects tho I'm curious if anyone has used it and how good it is. I've used the 3.6v-9v DX regulators and I've gotten one fried on my recently. It's probably my fault for the ghetto tape up setup but I've gotten something like 20hrs run time so I'm not sure if it was the tape up or the unit failed.

Anyone used this yet?

I've got one on the way, to drive my taillight from my 12V battery pack on my bike. It should be here this week, and since I just finished building my taillight tonight, I'll be able to plug it in and use it as soon as it gets here. I'll let you know how it goes.

I'm using these in tripple Cree and tripple Seoul LED bike lights. So far so good, they are nice and small which will test your soldering skills. ;)

Work great with an in-line toggle (or push to make, latching type) switch, not momentary like the bFlex uses.

That is true. I have two of these boards sitting around, while i practice some precise soldering. That negative terminal sitting in the middle of the board is really a pain.

That solder point (-ive) can be taken off the end of the resistor closest to the point. I've even taken it off the leg of the IC closest to the solder point and it works fine too. You have to be quick though so you don't roast the other components!

yup, they are great.

i have run about 12 hours thru mine, 2 were on the bike and they work flawlessly. for the price, they work great.
