Have all the MH-C9000 bugs been addressed?

I am considering getting one. I remember at the beginning people were talking about certain issues, different firmware version, a bug that a certain display did not show the correct value, etc. Have all these been worked out?

What is the latest (best?) version, and is ThomasDistributing the best source?
