Have you guys ever pitched CPF on other forums ?

I've done it numerous times, and i'm sure several have showed up here and stayed. There are a couple firearm related forums i'm a member of where quality-flashight threads have surfaced, and I ( and others) have directed the OP this way.
Seems like names like Surefire, Streamlight and Fenix are almost common
knowledge, and i'm surprised at those, but most of the others........

I have pitched CPF on a couple of rv related forums. Some of those guys still live in the M@g is king era. Hopefully I shed a little light on the subject.

I found out about CPF from a Headphone forum of all places.

I heard about it on a cooking forum (yes i was in need of a decent frying pan) and some guy referred to the cookware collection he was using as the 'surefire' of frying pans. so i asked him what he meant and was directed here

Absolutely. Knowledge of all things illuminating has its pinnacle right here. This is as good as it gets for lights. Anytime I'm on another forum and it starts, I may PM people individually and say, "Hey, check out this thread right here on CPF. The thing you guys are going around and around about has been done."

It's funny, on several forums I visit, Al Windler (Size 15's) is also a member. I see someone ask a question and before I can post, he'll chime in with all the info.

Definitely. I'm quite sure I'm responsible for a few new members, plus a bunch of lurkers, given that I started a few threads about lighting on other forums I frequent. This thread is actually a classic.

The guys at Spyderco forums, on Spyderco's official website, are a cool bunch. Several light threads have popped up over there recently. I've told them to come check out CPF. And I know at least one has done just that.

I am a mod over on British Blades ( as per my sig line), there are loads of members of both forums and CPF gets a very good press there.
