I'm hoping the cold air will help avoid the thermal step-down but even if they do throttle back they will probably still be sufficient for trail riding for the most part.
So my short list now is the Thrunite TT10, OLight Seeker 2, Fenix PD36R, and possibly just putting this on hold for a bit and seeing if the Nitecore New P12 is followed by a New MH12 (with USB C rechargeability and a suitable High output step-down). Realistically all these lights at their step-down lumen levels are probably going to be sufficient in lumens and throw, and the run-times are just going to be what they'll be. It will be hard to predict for my specific circumstances either way. Any opinions on these lights anyone?
