help finding a thrower

i tried to search for this, but the search for some reason is not working properly for me.

i am trying to find a light with the best throw that takes either rechargables or AA batteries.

can someone point me in the right direction?

I would suggest the SL Survivor LED. It has excellent throw, and can run either with AAs or a Ni-Cd battery back.
