I'm not getting any help on the modifier's board so I'll try it here...

Need some help...just got 4 of Netkidz's switches for some newer SF 6P LED lights. Taking off the aluminum part was pretty tough and I marked up the piece. :sigh: Was able to spin it in a drill to clean it up, now I seem to have a glued in retainer ring. What do you recommend? I was thinking about freezing or using a heat gun. Also have acetone on hand if it is a cyanoacrylate(sp?) glue. Any suggestions?

You can try boiling the tailcaps in hot water. If that doesn't work try a pair of pliers, stick the jaws into the cutouts and twist. If push comes to shove, you can dremel the plastic disc out.
