Help Testing an RGB 4 pin Light Strip with a DMM

[DWD1961]

I had some problems with a light strip I bought from Amazon. My motherboard RGB caps melted. Before I get into detail and post likes to my videos showing the problems, is there anyone here knowledgeable enough to help me trouble shoot using a DMM?
