Help with Helmet Light - Eagletac? L-Mini II? Fenix?

Hello,

I've got a good flood light lock-blocked to the handlebars. Its a MTE P7 led from DX (MTE SF-15 SSC P7-D-SXO 4-Mode Memory 900-Lumen LED Flashlight (1*18650))

Combined with a Fenix L2D Q5 on my helmet, all was good and well with my bike lighting - had no complaints at all. Then my Fenix went dim..., and I sold it on for parts.

So I'm looking to replace the Fenix L2D Q5 that was on my helmet. I liked its runtime, that it wasn't too heavy, that it had a bit of a *spot* that combined well with the MTE P7 Flood.

Am hoping to hear of any experiences with the lights I'm thinking of using:
Eagletac T100C2 , MG L-Mini II , MG Pila MC-E (I know, a flood, but looks like a nice light), ...another Fenix L2D Q5, Quark AA? ?

Is the Eagletac too heavy for a helmet mounting? I've never seen the beam in person ....Any guess or has seen how it works from a bike? Too narrow spot?

Another 18650 based light, the MG L-Mini II looks ideal,...love the small size. Only its output is less than the Eagletac (not significantly though),...more important, the runtimes are way less than the Eagletac, ...more than an hour less, which is a LOT.

Or would another nice flood (anyone using two flood-y lights for biking? And no spot?) like the MG Pila MC-E (i.e., P7 equivalent) work on the helmet?

Anyone experienced any of these lights in the context I'm thinking to use them? Any recommendations? Would you look at a different light altogether?

Thank You - Martin

P.S.,...what has me looking beyond another Fenix L2D Q5 is the more light and longer runtimes offered from 18650 based lights ... :)

something to maybe be considered: location of the flood and the spot light

spot on bars:
bars are pointed to where the bike rides. In extreme corners makes no deal if spot or flood, the light is useless.
At higher speed the bars point to the direction again, far reaching main beam being a plus.

headlamp:
light follows head motion. In corners the beam hits very near objects and gets reflected back from there. Very near distance usually.
High powered spot light --> bright light bouncing back to eyes. Eyes react and reduce night sight even more.
Thus the flood light on bars gets even more "dim".

imho the flood belongs on the head, the spot on the bars
... constant topic of argueing and thinking over ...

that typed, the L2D gives some 1 h 45 mins with Ni-Mhs, most any 1*18650 should give more runtime and more brightness, at the same time.
The Jetbeam I.B.S. brightness setting could be programmed at any "runtime" You like. Jet III Pro Ultra is the model I recommend. Most any other light gives You the current draw on max, some technician there decided is "best". Most of the time too much, imho

PS: I ride with a 1*18650 on bars, when the going gets tough, I add a 1*18650 flood headlamp.
