help with led lenser core P5R

Got this is a present a few years ago and it lay rolling around a draw as led lensers arent really my thing, in fact Im not really a light collector, just a duty user. Looking to put it into some sort of use at last and wondered what I need to get it running again. Seem to recall it was just a magnet type charger. Is it worth it related to the cost/usefulness of the light.

Can you remove the rechargeable battery from the light, or is it one of those models where the battery is completely sealed inside? If it's the former, a new rechargeable battery should work. If it's the latter, try contacting LED Lenser directly for a possible solution.
