HID kits with round ballasts

I wonder if the ballast can be thinned down enough to fit a bored D M*g

x2... Ive never seen that either. wonder if its a non-US standard?

I've seen those on another auction. I can't seem to find it now. There was several references to it being a "special" DC HID kit. I don't know what they were trying to say. It was in english though. The dimensions were not given but the guy said the ballasts were about the same diameter as the bulb bases.
