Anybody else made a homemade laser before? I made one about 3 years ago, somehow got it to work without killing myself and without learning anything whatsoever. need to try again sometime. It consisted of a capacitor, a transformer, high voltage, a spark gap to trigger the pulse, a capacitor made of foil and plastic trash bags, and a laser channel made of two straight pieces of metal. It actually lased a few times, I was amazed. Anybody else ever do anything like this but take pictures?
