Wow, just found this on the Fenix-store... Did we get a notice on the CPF-MP and I just missed it? Oh well, I'll be sending my order in... https://www.fenix-store.com/product_info.php?cPath=89&products_id=455.

Looks like Fenix-store will be shipping starting April 11!

  • Runs off both primary CR123A and rechargeable RCR123
  • Out the front: High - 80 lumens, Medium - 20 lumens, Low - 4 lumens
  • Narrower flood beam, 80-degree flood beam, without a hotspot.
  • Center area lux reading is about 130% over that of the H50 driven at the same current.
  • Runtimes: High - 2.5 hours, Medium - 21 hours, Low - 3.7 days
  • Recessed lens, as a glare shield plus some protection to the lens.
  • Traditional clip with narrower gap between the clip and the light.
  • Lanyard hole on the clip.
  • Shorter than the H50, volume and weight are about the same:
    • Weight with CR123A - 40g, with battery and headband - 62g
    • Dimensions - 21mm (head portion 25mm), height 56mm
  • Push-button switch for single hand operations.

I am going to order one of these, but am waiting for Fenix to announce their upcoming headlamp is available.

This will be an incredible backup lamp for caving. . . .

I had Fenix-store rush ship mine right to Milky's house since I was attending PF10. It arrived (thankfully, or I'd be driving back there or have to have Milky ship it to me) and I was able to show it to a lot of people and they really liked it. It's pretty awesome! I'll work up a review tomorrow hoepfully.

I wish that the AA flavor had the touch switch instead of the twisty.
Check out this tread... if I'm not mistaken, the H501 will be AA but H30 form factor ie. click switch...

We will release them in the order of H30, H501 and H51. The H501 is an AA version of the H30 (click switch, recessed lens, etc.). The H51 will have a traditional reflector instead of a lens.
