How does the TK10 compare to the M60 for throw? I have the M60 drop in in a 6P now and I'm wondering if it'd be worth my money to buy a TK10 for a real thrower. Thanks.

The TK 10 will throw a bit better than the Malkoff M60, but not a lot. If you want a real thrower you're better going witha Lumapower MRV, Tiablo A8/A9, Dereelight DBS, Raidfire Spear, etc. These are "superthrower" LED lights built just for that purpose. Check out a review of throwers in the reviews section.

Actually, according to my lux meter the M60 Q5 should out throw the TK10 or T1, but they are very close.

They should be close.

Out of the three main LED throwers, MRV, A8/A9, DBS, I'd pick the DBS because it has the best performance(a bit more then the A9, which throws further then the MRV) and is easily upgradeable.

my experience shows the M60 outthrowing the Tk10.....the M60 has a a more intense hotspot then the Tk10, and a bigger spill then the Tk10, but the Tk10's spill is brighter.

M60 is pretty hard to beat in the p60 format.......

but then again i own the tiablo ma6 as well.....for the plain ole white wall output the malkoff m60 is brighter than the ma6....but for throw the ma6 does outthrow it hands down......

I think that the m60 is the best all around beam that i have seen in just about any flashlight....now i just need to get the m60ll so i quit blinding myself with the m60 :duh2:
