WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR WAS THE FIRST GENERATION NUMERAL ONLY SERIAL # RATHER THAN LATER ALPHA-NUMERIC SERIAL # with T or R; example. 2R000123456

The serial number on my first generation BLACK MINI MAGLITE LED is 20000510670. Perhaps with a wide enough sample from other owners, we could estimate the number produced. I realize that the serial numbers may be encoded with other info and may not be sequential. At least, we would know the high and low serial numbers of our group.
Interestingly, I discovered that all the rest of my first generation LED Mini's (RED, BLUE, SILVER, GRAY & CAMO) have serial numbers beginning 2T. It seems as though only the black first generation LED's have a serial number without an ALPHA LETTER.
Would other members please confirm this?
