Lime green 2D Maglite just sold for $100 plus shipping

It was real clean, and I had been watching it. It had a couple of bids and sat for about a week at around $20 + shipping. I figured it would go high. Ended up going for $100 even. I didn't want it that bad. I figure our very own Jay went high on it to make sure he got it.

The lime green ones are fairly uncommon.

Is Maglite selling the old stock incans? They are discontinued, aren't they?

Good question, probably old stock if i had to guess, cuz they are out of blue 2d, which means they do not make them anymore.

I just viewed blue 2D or 3D, they're available in chipboard containers.. Search "incandescent"

Yes, about 10-12yrs old stock (7/11) on this container. Some will have '013

They're releasing new old stock like the dark green and midnight blue in various lights. My recent midnight blue 3D was in a 2020 box, 2D's in 2019 boxes.

Hopefully they have some C sized numbers collecting dust they'll release at some point. During the pandemic period they had those in the clearance section.

I have the Jade Green 2D and love the color. I also have the burnt orange, violet and royal blue versions.

I ordered a Dark Green 2D and two Midnight Blue 2Ds at 40% off. Hard to resist the price. Yes, I'd like to see some colored C units go for sale.

Love the Midnight Blue ones. I may put my 5k lumen / 26650 Adventure Sport kit in one of them ... with my polished out tail cap. It went from a green one to a red one - may as well go blue for a while. Need to polish out that head to match the tail cap.
