I've got a Mag85.

I'd getting a little annoyed at having to constantly remove the battery pack.

I'd like to either make or buy a tailcap that has a waterproof charging plug built in to it.

I'm not sure where to start. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Buy one of FM's battery holders. They have a charging plug built into the tail of the holder. You still need to remove the tailcap, but no the battery holder. Easier than making something yourself.

Cheers,

I saw those battery packs. I was thinking more along the lines of a direct plug in without removing anything.

Do you know of a source for "waterproof" plugs?

I am thinking a simple 12v style male jack. Could I simply silicon the part inside the tailcap to make it waterproof? Or is something else required?

Is the tailcap the best spot, or up by the switch?
