Hello everyone, and thanks for all for all of the advice. After talking with you guys and reading a lot I think I am going to buy the N30 to start out with. I love the AE PL24 for the form factor and color temp, but it seems for the price that the N30 is a lot of lights. I will order the AE PL24 later in the spring when camping time is here. I am going to buy from battery junction and I wanted to get a little more advice. I wanted another smaller LED type flashlight. I have seen reviews on youtube about fenix and surefire. I wanted to see if there was a favorite super bright LED compact flashlight that you guys carrry on a regular basis that I could also buy from battery junction.

Thanks to everyone,

I think you'll like the N30.

As for the pocket light, I've tried several Fenixes and Olights. I now carry a Surefire L1 despite the larger size. The Fenix just seemed to me to be too gadgety, with some weak points I was unhappy with. The Olight was OK, but not thrilled with the UI. The L1 is very simple, rugged and effective.

I have the Olight T20 w. Q5 LED. It's a small but very bright light. I bought it from Battery Junction as well. I like it a lot.

Like MikeLip mentioned the UI is a little different than most lights. While the power/mode switch is in the tail cap the brightness control is actually the screw connection between the body and the head. You just loosen and tighten it to switch brightness levels.

Here's a thread with a good review: http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?t=177455

Lumapower has several nice little lights.
you may also want to look at the little Ultrafire and Proton lights.
Batteryjunction sells all of these.

If you want real small you could look at the Orb Raws.
If you want tiny you could look at the Orb Raw Wee.

I use the LED light on the N30 quite often and have a NightCutter M60L and a couple Orb Raws with me as my pocket lights.

Take Care,
