Well, I've just received a TK40 not even three days ago and I'm already looking to buy another light. Huh.

While playing with my new light, I realized that I desired a selector ring/tail clicky combination UI. That led me to look at some more Fenix lights and then Jetbeam.

Those RRTs are some pretty sweet looking kits. I particularly liked the RRT series and really liked that RRT-2 in particular. Dang. It looks like I'll have to get one.

Look into the Fenix TA series, Surefire Saint headlights, Inova Inforce flashlights. Prepare to be broke.:poke::broke:

LOL, good thread title. But you think your acquisitive urge will stop if you get just ONE more light?

I'm able to stay away a few months at a time.. but then the nights get longer and the evenings have a few extra minutes.. and then you refreshing the new post on the marketplace every 60 seconds and wanting to buy more stuff you dont need..AND THEN WONDERING WHAT YOU CAN SELL TO GET MORE OR TRADE TO GET MORE OR.......

such a vicious cycle....

I HATE THIS PLACE!!!!

DON'T BLAME ME! I haven't bought a Fenix in a couple of years!

JeatBeam, on the other hand.... I could have an influence there. You need a Jet-III M :poke:

:D

hehehe, I swore so many times I'd wait till next year's models, and as I'm waiting for my RGB pre-order to come in, I'm already planning the next buy.

We should get tax refunds for keeping the economy going no matter what. Anyone interested in starting the flashlight religion? We could all pray to the great Lux and his wife Lumen to bring us into the light with them. We'd be the only religion with actual usable and practical Icons!!!! To anyone who argues they only believe in what they can see, just whip out your edc icon and let them see the light (pun absolutely intended)

And just so we are clear, I am in the 4th phase of flash-aholicisim- denial. I am not cured, as I want a new light!

It's a come and go addiction... you think you are over it for a few months and WHAM! you spend another 50 to 200$... 260$ in my case...

Could not flashaholism be described as hanging on on CPF forum with people that like flashlights

That's it!

I send more time on CPF for the moment than with lights. Two weeks ago I promised not to buy any light in 2009 anymore. Well, then came the PD10 Titanium which is limited (look at my sig...), then the Clicky 120 warm white high CRI (look at my sig...) and today I saw the SF-III LE (only 30 pieces, look at my sig...). So, I learned that I should keep to the one promise I swore I would never break : Don't promise anything you know you can't do!

I thought the cure would be no place in the showcase anymore. I love to see my lights in the showcase, before I hid them in the nightstand, but it got too small and in winter it's cold in the bedroom, my lights don't like the cold, they want it nice and warm. It's also much nicer to take them in hands if they have 22 degrees (Celsius) instead of 15, the lenses get also foggy if you take them and you feel that they don't feel comfortable.

Where was I? Yes, the showcase... It isn't the cure, as I plan to place several lights in oher rooms. That's great, some in each room, so you have a light handy when you need one. I also could switch those on that run on rechargeables and tailstand. Not to high, they mustn't overheat. I wouldn't need the ceiling lights anymore. Yes, that's it. I also can take a light to the bathroom, let it there and take another one with me. Cool, I'm gonna tell my wife, she'll love the idea, we'll save lots of energy! I just need a few more AA lights, I have lots of NiMh lying around.

Flashaholism is no big thing, don't be afraid (or switch a light on)...

Next step is sitting at the window waiting for the mailman to park down the road.
Not that I do that...
