Hi guys, I was bored so I took a fauxton into the shower. The water shorted it out so I couldn't turn it off. After 4 or 5 days it was still lit at a good brightness. There was lots of corrosion inside the light. Could the water react to the metal to create power? Coin cells can't be this powerful.

Methinks you've stumbled onto Cold Fusion !

Run ! ! ! ! !

Just an update, I poured some strong acid (apple cider vinigar) on the light last might. Now it still is between quark moonlight and my phone screen in brightness.

the act of corroding/rusting does reallocate electrons...perhaps some went through the LED, but it would have to be corroding at an alarming rate to produce any sort of current i would think...sell your idea to GE they'll try anything!:sssh:

I know it's somehow the same principal of lemon batteries. Just baffles me how powerful it can be.
