RedLed it doesn't sound like you have been stupid but rather you was really busy. I lose or forget things when I get to busy for my own good or when I feel stressed. I have made myself slow down a little and think things through a little more even if I don't get things done quicker. Of course I could just be getting older and my memory just isn't as good as it once was but I like to think it's the previous.

Anyway I hope the OP will post back soon and give an update, I feel for him that Ti Ra is a heck of an item.

Any luck yet?:candle: It is not a Ti Clicky, or a 170, but I have a 120T that I would be willing to send on loan to help fill the void... Please let me know.

What happened? I hope it's not gone and you've jumped off the Carrick-a-Rede bridge. If I were you then I would go to the Mussenden Temple and pray for its return. Either way you'll have to celebrate or drown your sorrows at the Old Bushmills Distillery.

Hey Matt you was logged in earlier how about a update, we need some closure to this one. I really hope it's good news.

Hey everyone, I'm sorry I didn't update this thread sooner, I've been really busy lately and just signed in the last time to quickly check my PMs. I come bearing good news! :twothumbs I found the light two days after posting here about it being lost. I got back in touch with one of my friends who said that she had moved it from the table where we were playing cards to the next room where we took the extra chairs from. It had then fallen to the floor and rolled under a cabinet, where it lay for two days :thumbsdow

I felt so stupid when I found it there, having thought that I left it in the restaurant! I'm glad to have it back. I put a lanyard on it as soon as I found it... I'm not letting this happen again

Thanks for all the good wishes and concern everyone! I really appreciate all the kind words :)

Great!

In 2003 the same thing happened to me, with my newly bought SF L1 and its shivering purplish 20 lumens!

I went to see a friend, and come back home without the light, which I had in my left pants pocket.

I returned home, without the L1. I may have cried... yes, I remember the feeling.
I was convinced to have lost the light in their house.

Two days after, when I was sure of my loss, I found the L1 in my house, in a carpet that somebody had rolled up. For awhile, as a result of the event, I carried my lights with a tether, but I found an impracticable solution for EDC rotation; the final solution has been carrying lights with effective clips, possibly of the bezel-down type.

Good that you had your light back.

Glad you found your light!!!
A few years back, I was helping my brother-in-law do some concrete stamping in a nearby town and when I got home I realized my E2D was gone!! I drove back out to town, looked all over the job site and gave up. My brother-in-law found it two days later in his basement and gave it back to me....... after he had to pry it away from his wife!!!

Because of my terrible habit of putting things down in ridiculous places I lost both a Tri-V and Ti Clicky light last week. Took me a day to find the Tri-V up on a shelf and a couple days passed before I found the Clicky leaning up against a post next to the koi pond where I had set it while feeding the fish.

So glad to hear you've got it back and hope you never have to endure that again!

I hope you hadn't bargained with your Maker: "Please, Lord, let me find my light, and I swear I'll ..." It would be a shame if he came to collect.

I haven't seen my Fivemega 3xAA in a while, together with a Dereelight module. I'm guessing it fell out of my commuter bag's pocket on the train. Fivemega no longer makes the 3xAA. Good thing LEDs keep getting brighter; between that trend and NiZn cells, I've been able to shift my interest to 2xAA and, even more, 1xAA lights.

Besides, I still have 2 of the FiveMega 3xAAs...

....and also call your buddies, maybe someone saw it around the house somewhere and set it down elsewhere.

If only someone had just suggested calling your friends you might have found it even sooner! ;)

Just joshing ya man, very happy to hear you got your light back, and a lovely light at that. :twothumbs

Now that is good luck! I felt very bad for you. Must have been quite a sinking feeling having no idea where such a nice light went.

I lost an SF L2 once. That sucked, and I never got it back. Doh!

Phew! I hate losing things. I was happy to have found my kitty nail clippers today in the bowels of the sofa. I'm always losing those things although they only cost $7.
