Does anyone here have both of these 2 lights from DX? I need a bright light with a longer throw. I intend to use it using lithium primaries for walking and 2xAA 2xAA as bike light. Anticipating for you help.

I have the Q5 version RC-N3 from shiningbeam.com. IMHO your $$ is better spent on the added brightness of the Q5. Its about as bright as my 6090 drop in... at half the size.

Its one of my fave lights. With primaries and AA NiMH it spits out around 80-90L, and with an RCR123 its in the ~130L ballpark.

My only complaint is that it gets warm and really could benefit from a low mode.
