I went to Walmart yesterday to pick up a set of quick change dumbbells.
Of course I had to visit the flashlight section. There were a couple of ladies, with a child looking at the variety of flashlights. Of course I couldn't "Mind my own damn business" so I had to ask, why?
It was explained that one of them owns a farm in Venezuela, or Peru, and she wanted a flashlight and or a headlamp. Looking at all of the lights, there wasn't a single one that I would recommend. The headlights for the most part were the cheap ones that take 3xAAA batteries, and most of the flashlights were of the 3xAA battery type.
I recommended that for $10 she get that rechargeable Rayovac (the one that is the size of a convoy S2+ with a non-replaceable 18650 in it.) And since she had access to Amazon I suggested a Sofirn D25L headlamp. It has in the light recharging capability.
I felt good that I was able to put some of the info I learned here to good use.
