Identify LED

The following emitter is out a budget ebay CR123 light:



Any ideas what it is? Seller claims its Luxeon but browsing the Commonly Used LED Emitter Index it looks a bit like a SSC Z-Power P4. Seems plenty bright for a $3 light.

doesn't look like the SSC P4s I have here, may just be a clone of a luxeon/SCC P4 as it isn't a luxeon and the SSC LEDs sell for more than $3 so putting them in a cheap light probably isn't going to happen often.

I think it might be a Edison Opto KLC8:

"210 lumens @ 1 Amp" - that might explain why its so much brighter than I expected :twothumbs.

that makes more sense as I have seen the edison type LEDs for sale around the $1 price in quantity online. on a $3 light the LED shouldn't cost more than 50 cents I would guess.
