I had one and it's ok, nothing special like the other Cloud lights. It's a typical cheap Chinese light. My Archer Mini has a better beam, tint and was half the price.

I heard mixed reviews on it. Seems basically like a streamlight microstream.
Yeah basically. I didn't like it because it was way cold (6500k) for me and charging was really hit or miss.
Yeah I’m not a fan of that cold 6500k. On-board charging is also a no go for me

So far so good. It has the surefire type of anodizing. I prefer the chicro over the thrunite Archer

Old body MD2 and its all mine.
Must of been that one that was just on eBay. Don’t get too excited with the knurling, they aren’t that grippy. But nonetheless it’s a great light
Have an extra spare body so I got a Malkoff M31W and VME coming in for a AA or CR123 setup

It was. I like the looks of the old style better as well. What is the "grippy" like compared to the Surefire 6P?
Not sure, never owned the Surefire 6p, only the E series with knurling. If the E series knurling is like the 6P than the Surefire is way more grippy than the Malkoff
I also would rather own the Malkoff older style knurled bodies over the new ones. Gives it that old school aesthetic look

Got this in the mail today.
I’ve owned like 3-4 of these in the past. Sold everyone of them and regretted it each time lol. This light never should’ve been discontinued
Perfect Surefire IMO. 300/5 lumen dual stage, dual fuel CR123/16340 (confirmed with Surefire through emails) nice knurling, excellent appearance, feels great in hand, perfect clip, and of course replaceable E series parts

I think this and the current Aviator feel the best in hand and carry really well. Thanks for the info on the 16340 compatibility!
6P is like holding a dry bar of soap.
MD2 is like holding a wet bar of soap.
You just have to be more cautious because it's not real grippy.
Don't drop the soap.
