Is a Osram 64250 a good option in a FM bi-pin adaptor M6?

I know that some of them can't fit into the KT4, so its a luck of the draw thing...

Also, must it be the HLX version because I think there is a another version of the 64250 that is not HLX.

I understand the 64250 is floodier than the WA1111, but wat about the runtime on 2C and the relative brightness??

It can run on 2C Li-ion right....

DM51 , a supporter here did a detailed outline on batteries and bulb combos for the M6 that will answer your questions. I don't know how to post the link but maybe some one here could do it or you could do a search thru his threads to find it.

The M6 shootout thread is this one.

I tried 64250s, and the ones I had didn't fit through the reflector hole, so I could not compare them; however other members have found that they do fit. As you say, it is the luck of the draw - it will depend on size variations in the manufacturing batches.

My guess is that performance of the 64250 will be almost indistinguishable from the WA1111, but of course the advantage is that the 64250 is a lot cheaper.
