Is the L-mini still available? Or similar...

I have a couple of old MG L-mini lights that both have finally died. I really liked those as a very small and light 18650 light (I taped one to my bike helmet in strobe mode to make myself obnoxiously visible). A search didn't immediately turn them up.

Are these still available, or what is the closest now to that form-factor with 5 modes?

I'm not sure what that light looks like. But if you want small bright 18650 with a bunch of mode options then the fw3a fits the bill

I believe that the original manufacturer was ShiningBeam. The brand has been retired for about ten years now. Lots of folks bought one or more of Brian's lights (I have four, three still work). The output was great for the time, and both my L-Mini and S-Mini work as flawlessly now as they did when new. They also make good muggle lights, offering good mode spacing and reasonable runtimes to the unenlightened.
