Is there ever get togethers in the UK?

Is there, are there, have there, will there, ever be flashaholic get togethers/trade shows in the UK? Preferably South East/ London area.

I don't know of any but i would be willing to go to one if someone else was to arrange it. I wouldn't have a problem arranging it myself if i had enough time but i barely get time to check whats new on CPF let alone arrange a meeting. Come to think of it i probably wouldn't have time to attend any way.

Youd be welcome too dabear, but that is a heck of a long way. Maybe when i come to Florida in a year or 2 i can see what a real get together/show is like. I was born in the wrong country.

I've never seen anything over here. I'd probably go to have a look, but I won't have much money to spend on torches until I stop being a student.

South/South-East would suit me pretty well.

The closest thing we have here is the group of flashaholics that walk round the Outdoors show at the NEC... only thing is we never know/recognise each other!

although the one stroking the maglites is usually a safe bet...!

I'm considering a trip this summer to visit a relative in Blackheath and several friends near Nottingham. If someone puts something together, and the timing is right, I just might be able to attend. BTW, when I say "if someone puts something together", I don't mean me this time. It is however somewhat tempting I must admit.
