JETBeam Jet-III Pro ST hums/buzzes when on

First time poster, short time reader

I bought a JETBeam Jet-III Pro ST not too long ago and I noticed that it makes a high pitched buzzing sound or a hum when on. Is this something I should be concerned about or is this typical with this model? I have a few other JETBeam flashlights and none of them make a similar sound.

Anyone? Is this flashlight defective or good to go?

Just checked mine, no sounds at all on any power level. Some lights do this I understand, I would contact who you purchased it from if its bothersome

It's alrights. Alot of lights that use a driver with an inductor have some slight whine. Sometime it's the luck of the draw, and volume and pitch can vary. Not much the at can be done about it, though.

I have the same inductor whine phenomena on my EX10. Only on "medium" though, high and low are silent. Maybe a little annoying, but no big deal.

If your light is screaming like a banshee, though, you could probably get the seller to exchange it. The next one you get might be quiet.
