The light retains all the original Programming modes.
It is Roughly 3x as bright as the Original Q5.
It has more of a Floody beam than it previously did,
but with sooo much output, Who Cares???

I am Asking $225.00OBO US, Shipping included, International Extra :grin2:

Very nice clean mod! I imagine that it get hot very quickly on the higher settings though.

It doesn't get Hot very quickly :grin2:

I just would not run it for more than 5 mins on high
without holding it to dissapate the heat.

That looks so cool!!! but i just bought two lights so i cant do it

Did you use the stock driver?

About how many Ampere's is it driven?

1.34a on high to the led, 2.04a from the battery, about 1:20mins runtime
60ma on low, 20ma from the battery, about 70hrs runtime

This is very tempting.
I like the zero protrusion switch. Is it still a tactical forward clicky or did you change it to a reverse clicky?
I assume it tail stands now.

I am interested. But the research I do for this light pulls up pictures of a different looking light, basically with a larger head. Confusing.

What is the UI? 2 outputs, hi and low? Can it run indefinitely on hi in your hand or will it get so hot at some point it must be shut off. What are approximate lumens on low?

I used the included reverse clickie.. but otherwise the tactical switch
is included, along with extra o-rings, lanyard, and button cover.

I made it a tailstander by spacing the button with an o-ring.
It woks perfect, and still retains the water-resistance properties.

Here is the Light Link:

And if you run it on high in your hand, it will get fairly warm.. My hands
are pretty sensitive to heat and cold, and i can tolerate it.

The UI is 3-modes. Each mode can be configured independantly.
#1 is Low-High Output
#2 is Low-High Output
#3 is the same as 1,2 but with Different Strobe modes Too.
You can adjust the frequency of the strobe from Sos, Flash, and
1Hz-15Hz Strobe.

Also, The Lowest output it has is 2 lumens.

Hmmm, got any more of this?
What would be different from this and the trust fire other than the case?
I like the case of this.

I am actually in the process of replacing the driver
board.... I broke it on accident...:party:
Don't insert the batteries in backwards, no matter
what the manufacturer says

It will be up for sale in the near future with a bit
of a price reduction... But it prob won't happen
for another couple of weeks :sssh:
