Someone asked me if I could put a warmer tinted emitter in their RRT-0
I had a few Q3-5A emitters on hand so out came the R2 and in went the Q3-5A. It is probably the easiest emitter swap out there. The LED is just soldered and has some of that white thermal grease on the bottom.

The results are nice.

Me want! Me want! I was going to wait for the neutral version of this to come out, but why wait! I just took delivery of two Q4 5C XR-E's, I may have to order an RRT-0. And that Hakko!
T, I just ordered some Q4 4C XP-E from Cutter, in a couple of weeks, I may have to see how those fit and if they give a cleaner beam - they should.

Did you try an XP-G in it first?
