Already had a Ti Mule Mizer and certainly my favorite light. Wanted more throw so took a piece of my last consultant check and plunked down the dough for a Ti PD-S. Recently received it from the last wave and loving it. What a light.

Been watching for a trit Aluminum version (PD or PD-S) and found one from TENMMIKE. He did a great job of polishing it up for me. So smooth is the action compared to my Ti. I think I might be hooked. They are just so cool. Love the stainless bezel on the aluminum version and the GITD ring.

I have just been carrying the Ti PD-S on me but keep the Mule in my man bag. The Mule beam is so perfectly floody I can't seem to leave it at home. I could look at it light up stuff for hours (what a geek). It really must be seen to be believed wth no hotspot.

The PD-S went on its first dog walk the other night and performed fantastically. Very nice output in a small package. Now that the Al version arrived today well what a nice dilemma to have although my bank account is suffering. I may never retire.

good to hear your love for the mule! I had to walk away when I saw the last mule wave, maybe I'll save up for a second hand one someday:mecry: I don't(and many other cpfers) will think you a geek for lighting up stuff for hours! what do you think I do in between posts?:p

again thx for the Ti Pics!

Thanks for your thanks. I was just pumped about my first embedded images!

I should add, once I'm in for the evening, the Mule is what I carry around the house as it is perfect for skulking about and plenty of light on high should the need arise.

Love the mule:twothumbs. It was my first McGizmo. Its my most used light of the bunch.Got my Ti PD-S III from the last wave to take place of my aluminum PD-S for EDC use.I EDC about 4 to 5 lights on me at any given day.My mule always get's the most attention thow.I think it has to do with the open head and the fact that it glows like a full moon on a dark winter night

Nice work, da.gee! For only being a member for a couple months, you've got y'rself a great startup collection of custom lights!

I've got a buncha PD's in different formats, and I love all of 'em - Al and Ti, for different reasons. Next up - try and score an S27-PD. Although there were 3 in Al (I owned one, but sold it since I liked the Ti version more), the Ti's are pretty plentiful right now. :)

Nice pics, and welcome to the group of... well, whatever we are!

You guys are so easy to please. Just show a few McGizmos and you're happy.

Timing (and a little cash) is everything in getting these and I've been lucky.

I happened to find CPF right before the last Ti-Mule train and took the plunge with a Mizer. Get sidetracked reading about brighter lights but all the while that damn Mule just keeps growing on me. A perfect illumination tool around the house. Becomes my most used. So, I'm thinking "Mule, great light. Wonder if a throwier McGizmo is just as cool and effective?"

Watched the PD and variants in BST and read all I could find to figure out exactly what they were. Don intimated another PD-S run was imminent when Project LunaSol bogged down and BOOM there were more PD-S models to be had. Ordered one.

Of course before the Ti version even got here I was intrigued by talk of the smoothness of the aluminum versions. Do you think I could wait until my Ti version got here to see if I even like the PD? Nooooooo! One popped up on BST and impulse got the better of me. I had to know. Heck, one of you might buy if PD ends up not my thing. I roll the dice and say those wallet busting three words: "I'll take it!"

So I guess I find myself an accidental collector but my initial reasoning seemed sound. Got perfect flood beam, need perfect throwier beam.

The PDs are everything good I've read about. Just wow. Very pleased with both. I greatly appreciate the combination of art, craftsmanship and function in the lights. I suppose an S27 PD is just as cool. Crap.

Did you say startup collection? I thought I was done. :shakehead

I've been watching the S27 action with interest. I figure some are liquidating from their vaults to finance Lunasols. Us newbies can only benefit.

Thank you for the welcome.
