JST connector

Can anyone draw me a simple picture of where I would need to connect the wires of a jst connector to my 4s2p li-ion pack to balance the cells properly with a hyperion charger? I've read that a 5 lead jst will work but for the life of me can't figure out how that would work right on my pack if I'm supposed to wire each battery???
