Just bought some AW's, will my DSD charger kill them? How often should I charge?

I have been charging my DX 18650's and CR123A batteries for the last few years on my DSD Charger. The charging cutoff seems to occur right at 4.12v on my particular charger. Could something else about this charger shorten the life of AW 18650's or CR123A's?

Also, my habit is to charge after about 15-20 minutes of use on high in modern LED flashlights (usually one or two days of EDC), should I start to run the batteries down until the protection circuit kicks in, or should I continue to top them off after a little use.

CR123A batteries? did you mean RCR123?:poke:

If so, better you keep them away from full discharge. You may continue top off them, without problems.
Keep in mind that li-ions can't be run until limit of discharge, or they will be useless.

I'm not sure about the limit, however I don't running them below 3,5v.

Cheers,
Dioni
