How about an Auroralite Minimag? You could upgrade to a 1499 for more output.

It's a Carley bulb with more output than the standard TL-3 bulb. Here's the latest group buy. It's already closed, but you could probably find out when the next one will be.

I'd say it'd probably be around 20-25, actually. It's not THAT much more powerful than the stock TL-3.

whether or not an upgrade will occur depends on two factors...from a conservative point an upgrade can only be done after the TL-3 lamp burns out, and from the logics point an upgrade is only possible if the upgrade lamp is available....but its not and it wont be until the group buy opens again
so its a gridlock
