hi, I was just wondering if any of the Xenon flashlights are any good from Dealextreme or Kaidomain...I've been lurking around the LED's section mainly but the colour of LED's dont seem so useful outdoors...so i'm looking a for a bright(at least 100 lumens...200+ would be great) n cheap(under $50) flashlight...if not from KD or DX then any other suggestions(even making if <$100) would be great that also run on NiMH AA's or 3.7v 16340/17670/18650 ...i was interested in the Hemse...anyone have 1? https://www.kaidomain.com/WEBUI/ProductDetail.aspx?TranID=971

their a little cheesey buy some of them aren't too bad... I like the ultrafire brand personally for cheap thrills with reasonable build.

main thing, is make sure you get one that supports "D26" style lamp assemblies, so you have more flexibility later on. (like this one)

any 2-4 cell (cr123) ultrafire xenon that supports these lamp types can be pretty potent for the price, and can be converted to use rechargable lithium-ion cells pretty easily.

if you are willing to spend up to that $100, I would seriously suggest you go for a Wolf-Eyes 9A raider kit. This comes with a pair of 18500 cells, a decent Wolf-Eyes 9V lamp, and charger.. Everything you need for a solid rechargable li-ion powered xenon light.

Or get a Rattlesnake M90, and piece together your own rechargable solution to keep the price reasonable. (call up mike at PTS and see if he'll sell you an M90 pre-loaded with a 9V lamp [wolf-eyes or lumensfactory] without the rest of the rechargable kit), and pick up a pair of 18650s and a WF-139 charger from AW, total cost should be right around 100 bucks, and you'll have a total scorcher. (300+ torch lumens if you can snag a EO-9L D36 lamp in the finagling, lol)
