As I was reading my Maha C9000 manual (actually, it's just one sheet of paper) and as I've read on this board, I see that there are a few guidelines that should be followed for proper care of your cells.

- Refresh and Analyze - Recommended once every ten cycles.
- Break-In (forming charge) - Recommended once every 30 cycles.
- When you use more than one cell in a device, try to match your cells.

Do you guys actually number all your individual cells? Do you keep meticulous notes on all your cells (when charged, capacity, number of times charged, which cells are matched, etc.)?

With the number of cells that can easily be accumulated, this data could end up filling several notebooks pretty quickly.

So do you guys keep notes, or do you just charge away and every once in a while refresh or reform your cells?

Thanks,

NightBandit,
As I was reading my Maha C9000 manual (actually, it's just one sheet of paper) and as I've read on this board, I see that there are a few guidelines that should be followed for proper care of your cells.

I'm sure one of the pros will jump in here and correct me if I'm wrong.

- Refresh and Analyze - every 20 to 30 cycles is all that is needed.
- Break-in Mode - On new batteries and ones that have not been used/stored for
extended time (More then 3 months)
- When you use more than one cell in a device, try to match your cells 100% correct!
You will get much better performance and runtime.

New C-9000? Sweet! I love mine, that's why I just got a second one. I'm having fun playing with mine learning all I can and seeing who it works. Good luck with it!
