I know nothing about knives.

Is 90 bucks a good deal for a good condition Microtech Mini SOCOM?

price aside, one of the most important features of a knife is the steel used...
which could become very very confusing:green::green:

As long as the knife is in pretty good shape and the lock is solid, I wold say $90 is a really good deal. These models aren't made any more. I own 2 (1 I carry and use, and 1 safe-queen). In my opinion these old school Microtechs are some of the nicest factory made folding knives ever made.

UPDATE:

Got it for $75 in the end.

Jury's out at the moment. Much bigger and lighter than I thought. I can't make it open one-handed - dunno if it's supposed to.

Quality of manufacture seems outstanding though.
