Hello everyone,
I have a few Maglite's in C and D sizes that I would like to mod. I was thinking on using Cree emitters with a driver/heat sink set-up. I looked at the Cree XHP70 N2-3C 1710LM 5000K LED Emitter but not sure if that emitter will work properly in a Maglite. I also looked at the Cree XM-L2 T6-3B 10W 1100LM 5000-5200K Neutral White LED Emitter, and this one seems to be a better choice. I would also need the driver to go along with one of these. I had did some incandescent mods years ago, but now would like to get back into it with the latest led technology. Anybody care to comment on what they think would be a good led mod for either a C or D size. I am seeking high lumen output
