Not too long ago I went camping with my grandma at allegany state park and on the way up(because for some reason she doesn't trust the technology of my lights or something) she picked up some cheap ever ready two D light. We took it out of the pack and for some reason it was acting like the batteries were low... So I put new batteries in, still the same thing. It stayed like this the whole weekend. but after she had been home for a couple days, the light works like new!(although still dim like new:D) So What I'm wondering is if that is something that happens sometimes with cheap incans.
thanks!

It's more likely to happen to cheapies, but it can happen to anything. A little deoxit lasts a long time, and so does a little silicone lubricant. If you plan to rely on them, they deserve it, regardless of their cost or quality.
