I'd like to do one of two things:

Purchase a Surefire 6P LED version OR

Purchase a Surefire 6P and then add an LED drop in.

Now the question is... which do I get the most bang for the buck?

I can get a 6P for $59 with free shipping (maybe even less). Then I'll spend at least $35 on an LED drop in for it. OR, is there a DX alternative?

A 6P LED version will cost $85 with free shipping.

Which one?

It's too bad that SF bodies (w/o LA's) aren't available from SF. I'm sure they would take affront to selling bodies for someone else's drop-ins but still.

FWIW, I HIGHLY recommend the Malkoff Devices drop-in - but you may have to wait a bit.

from my experiences the DX seoul is the brightest of the bunch (malkoff excluded). I have compared it to a SF L2, fenix P2D-CE, L2D-CE, and the new Ray-o-vac extreme 4watt, and the only one that came close was the ROV.

Got a link to this one?
