Newly Enlightened
I am slowing trying to switch over to using LED lightbulbs and recently picked up a GE energy smart 60W (2700K, 800lumen) dimmable light bulb. I used it on a non-dimmable stove top socket and it was very good. Just for kicks I decided to try it in my bathroom light fixture and it gave off a buzzing noise. I can't figure out why.
The switch in the bathroom is a non dimmable- it may have been originally. I would like to replace the bathroom light with LED's, would purchasing a non-dimmable LED lightbulb get rid to the buzzing?
