LED noob asking for suggestions please

I think I want to "lego" a light together. It's been suggested that I look at LED instead of Incan. I want to build it from a "base" of a Leef 1x18650 C head C tail body.

It'll be for everyday carry. I guess I'm asking for alot, but hopefully you fine folks can help me. What and where (links if possible) else do you suggest for this build?

Certain tail? Certain head? What Cree and from where?

Any questions, feel free to ask.

You should be able to lego together something with many combination choices.

There are several drop-in LEDs for the C head. The wolf-eyes Cree drop-in received some pretty nice reviews. That's available here:
