This is not a firearm related question at all. It is a LED/electronics question that I figured somebody might know.
So the Aimpoint series of red dots use an LED as AFAIK to project the dot. How is it that they are capable of achieving SO much more runtime then comparable sights. I cannot believe they hold a patent on some kind of uber mojo effecient board that is super miserly with the power draw vs. everybody else out there.
So how do they do it? They call there technology CET, I believe.
Thanks
Chris
