Just a thought to run a strip of LEDS just to left and right of centre on each fork on commute bike. So pointing slightly to the side ( not directly to the side )

Plan is to be seen by cars pulling out left and right who seem to miss the handlebar light which obviously points straight ahead.

It could be, of course, that drivers do see me but couldnt give a **** and pull out anyway !!

Nothing too bright - flashing or static.

Anyone done this and found it helped ?

Many thanks.

Can't hurt, should be simple to do. How about amber?

I wonder if you could do a pov light like the monkeylectric (among others). You would almost surely need multiple strips, but it wouldn't be rotating. I have wanted a monkeylectric that is programmed to display a graphic representation of a stop sign.

Google Fibre Flare, got one on my camelback, but a helmet light is better for the purpose you intend.
