Hi. I'm planning on upgrading my dragonsub trilux headlamp, but i just don't know what to do with it yet?
(have never modded a led flashlight before)
The trilux is direct drive and uses 3xC cells, and has 3 luxon III. twisty on/off switch at the bottom of the cannister. fits 3x20mm lenses.
I use the light for spearfishing in the arctic part of Norway at winter, so heat will be no problem at all. The water is VERY COLD, so i think I'm stuck with rechargeable c-cells??? (at summer it's daylight 24/7 up here anyway

I would like it to trow as far as possible with as little spill as possible. ( The spill hits particles in the water right in front of my eyes, and blinds me) i want to use the headlamp to "spot targets" underneath me. I also have a dragonsub lux4 (4 x ssp p4 led) strapped on my right hand, this way i always light up the direction i point my speargun. Need about 1hour+ brightness and one mode...-death from above mode- :devil:
any suggestions?
