There was hard to find information of PCB components boost driver. So I make some measurements and found very good driver for cree xp-g 7up.
Led driver quite big for flashlight 31,6mm diameter and 10,8mm height.
There is good big soldering places for wires and place for heat sink.
Current selection soldering pads are small if you solder wires there. I think that almost one pad must be connected of 350ma 700ma or 1000ma choices. These pads makes easy to make switch for current selection. 1700ma is not in the chart.
There is also PWM pad but I dont know how to use
Variables of min voltage and led amounts found:
http://pcb-components.de/anleitungen/LedSenserV2.pdf
So there is measurements: 7xcree xp-g in series and ledsenser v2
There was bare driver and there was not any heat problem. Do 2W needs heat sink at all, I think not.
So there is good choice for other boost drivers such as Maxflex that can drive 7up.
Price is 31€ + 11€ postal payment to Finland including taxes. Paid whit paypal.
Recommended for max 10 up light mods.

- Bat 15,1V 1,52A = 21,73W 1000ma
- Led 21,1V 1,03A = 22,95W Efficiency 95%
- Bat 14,85 2,13A = 31,63W 1000ma + 350ma
- Led 21,0V 1,40A = 29,40W Efficiency 93%
- Bat 12,26V 1,99A = 24,40W 700ma + 350 ma
- Led 21,1V 1,08A = 22,79W Efficiency 93%
- Bat 12,26V 0,63A = 7,72W 350ma
- Led 19,94V 0,37A = 7,38W 96% Efficiency
