Because I wanted the Vesuvius body for my Shastax head, I am running the Vesuvius head on the Shastax body with a 10280 battery, QTC from Shao and a 1 mm magnet spacer.
I use the Shastax as my EDC and I wanted better run time.
FWIW the lego Vesuvius works well and the output is decent without getting as hot as it did with an IMR.
I run a standard 10440 on the lego Shastax.
I would still buy a 2xAAA Vesuvius body if Curt ever gets around to shipping them.

Since I purchased the Hi Cri Logan head and installed it on my 17500 body. I put the cool Logan head on a Mckinley body with a momentary switch and a QTC. The Mckinley ramps well when used frequenty but if I don't use it for, say 48 hours. I lose the lows and it just jumps to high, when I press the momentary. After leaving it on for a few minutes it again becomes responsive and the lows reappear. I think the QTC softens up a bit from the pressure.
