Lenser mini tac, 1AAA

I have one. On a Rayovac alkaline AAA it gives you 4 1/4 hours slightly decreasing sun mode and then useable decreasing output for another 14 1/2 hours. It's definately a battery vampire. Mine has pure white output. Doen't have a very pronounced hot spot, it just kinda fades out into the surrounding light. The way the switch is designed, it can be a problem turning it on or off. Works better with my thumb than with my index finger. You have to depress the switch below the metal surrounding it in order for it to activate. It has a lanyard hole next to the switch, no lanyard provided. Just less than 25 grams with battery, 0.6" diameter, 3 9/16" length. Due to the switch, it is not tail standable. No anti-roll. Per their tech support they say it's ok to use lithium batteries with this flashlight. I hope all that helps.

I can do a runtime test with a Duraloop if you like.

Well, your thread title says 1AAA, but the link provided shows a (4)AG13 cell light. I own the 1AAA version. Got it for $5 on clearance at Target. I wuld not call mine pure white output, more slightly purple, but it's all relative and personal preference. Ditto the switch comment.

I also have two fo the (4)AG5 Nano tac versions. The switches on those give no audible click whatsover, so you're never really certain when you can release the switch and be assured it will stay on. I like both lights, though. The 1AAA is currently my "go-pee-in-the-middle-of-the-night" light! Plenty of light for finding another Terazosin tablet, too!

Saw this one at Sportsmans Warehouse but they quit carrying them. They were asking ~11 dollars US. I was very impressed with the fit and finish. Grant it the black will probably scratch and rub off with time but the bezel end was turned in--- in other words was nice and round and the glass was inset. The crystal tube reflector they talk about was very impressive. I have been back many times to see if they have stocked it again. I would not hesitate to buy one.

Tiny little rubber boot cap on tail end for click on and off. Clicked with authority.

Good bang for the buck I say.

Edit: I see that this one seems to be silver. So the finish may not be an issue as I said above. I only saw black ones at the warehouse. Great 1 AAA light in my eyes "pun intended" Also it says in the specs "key ring" Well the one I saw was smooth all around and no holes anywhere. No key ring was visible in the package. It seems this light was made just to throw in ones pocket.
