Lightforce Blitz 240 Wow its bright

I Just brought one and all i can say is wow its bright


This thing is CRAZY
Got the best possible price i can think of $125AUD at my local gun shop

Im impessed with it hey lit up my whole park


Anyway Does anyone know the stock brand + model number is it (claims to be a 12v 100w globe)

Are thier any mods that can be done while still using a 12v car battery APART from a HID mod

Can you plz post some beamshots of the standard 100w?

Have you seen what some ppl here have done to those lights? 400w overdriven. Not Practical, but a HOLY MOTHER ----------- affect.

get some type of dc.-dc. step up transformer and use 64655 or 64657 24v 250 watt or 64663 or 64664 36v 400 watt bulb. lots brighter than what you have!

I had built a LarryK14 and I wanted to build something brighter and lighter. So I ordered a Blitz and when I received it I hooked it up to my 25A power supply and went white wall hunting. My first thought was WOW, this thing really needs a lot of help. I was expecting more from the 100 watt bulb with that large reflector. Compared to the LarryK14 it looked like a MiniMag. I fixed it though....

I believe the stock bulb is an Osram 62138.

Most lightforce bulbs are Osram 62138's

im guessing they arnt protected lipo cells
im too scared to play with non protected ones

Queenslanders mod dosent have enouth run time for me

Anything else that can power the 64663 @ about 39v ?

How about 12s2p A123s? It would require a larger battery box than I used, but they are safe. You would also need a specific charger such as the Cellpro 4s. (I own three and I recommend them.) The 64663 rocks in the Blitz. I think it would be worth your time and money to mod it.

A123 are 3.3v Right
So 12 x 3.3v = 39.6v + allow for overcharg etc mayb 43v or so

I Install a softstart device such as Jimmy's

Should be set

Now need money

Not much, less than 13A for over 500W. Voltage is your friend.
