Hey all,
Im new here and am looking for lights for our 25 hour road race enduro car.
The track is very dark and last years set-up was 4 Hella 55s and 2 no name 35s on a removable light bar and it was pretty inadequate. We are looking to use 4 HIDs and are willing to go for the Hella 4000xi. They are at the upper range of our budget and then some. So if there is a cheaper alternative Id love to hear about it.
The light will be on a sports car appox. 20 above the track surface with 2 pointed straight ahead and 2 pointed toward the turn apexes.
The track is pretty smooth with elevation change, We hit 130 on the straight and on the high speed corners have and entry speed of approx. 90 mph.
Hopefully that enough to work with.
